SharePoint - AD LDS/ADAM

Important Note
This is a GAC-installed assembly.

System Requirements

• SharePoint Foundation (Standard and Enterprise include an Ldap Provider)
• Claims-based Web Application configured to use Forms Based Authentication (see SharePoint 2010 and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services – Better Together for example configuration instructions)
• Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services/Active Directory Application Mode

Installation

1. Extract the zip file from the download.
2. Run the Setup.msi on all servers in the farm.

Configuration
Follow SharePoint 2010 and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services – Better Together, but substitute the following for the "type=" value:

SharePoint 2010:
Membership Provider:
Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.LdapMembership, Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=61278961d05cfe0a

Role Provider:
Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.LdapRole, Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=61278961d05cfe0a

SharePoint 2013:
Membership Provider:
Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.LdapMembership, Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.2013, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e1247d213b5ddc40

Role Provider:
Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.LdapRole, Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.2013, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e1247d213b5ddc40

Uninstallation

1. In Control Panel -> Programs and Features, uninstall Nauplius.ADLDS.Provider.
